SUPERBALL.ID – Real Madrid coach, Zinedine Zidane, revealed his retirement plans on Monday (6/29/2020).

This was stated by Zidane in a press conference after Madrid’s 1-0 victory over Espanyol.

Although it is uncertain when he will decide to retire, the Frenchman does not want his coaching career longer than his career as a footballer.

“I will not train until 20 years. I will retire before that,” Zidane said, as quoted by SuperBall.id from SportBible.

“I’m a different coach, anything can happen. I don’t plan anything. Day by day makes me excited. For how long, I don’t know.”

“In my mind, I am a footballer. I played for 18 or 19 years, and after that when people asked me if I would be a coach, I said no.”

“But then just being (coach). It makes me tired. It won’t (until) 20 years, that’s for sure,” he added.

Previously, Zidane had also resigned in May 2018, when he had only coached Madrid for a year and a half.
