Hello!
I am now in my final year as a university engineer in computer technology and will graduate in June. I am a person with a strong interest in IT and programming.
For personal reasons, I will not be able to study a master’s program and must therefore find a job in my industry. The problem is that I only know a little bit of everything (imposter syndrome?) because that’s what I’ve learned in the past three years, but I haven’t delved into anything specific. I also didn’t program before I started.
I also haven’t done my own projects in my free time, which I regret a lot, even though I barely had time to study, which I managed well. But I know I have great potential, I just want to find a job where I can develop and gain more experience.
I’ve applied to a lot of “trainee” programs and am in some recruitment processes now but my future is still unclear, I haven’t applied for regular jobs yet because they all require several years of experience which I don’t have yet.
How can I find a job? How was it for you who graduated within the last 5 years?
If I didn’t need money to support myself, I would have done an internship or studied extra courses, but I need a job.
I am very grateful for any tips I can get.
