Time magazine editorial staff named ten best games, which includes both multi-platform titles and exclusives for the PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.
Time’s Best Game is Hades. The editors noted in it the variety of the combat system, the successful character development scheme and the replayability. By the way, the opinion of the publication is generally in line with the opinion of critics of the gaming industry and ordinary gamers: the release of Hades on PC and Nintendo Switch took place on September 17, and three days after the release, 300 thousand copies were sold. At the same time, the average score on Metacritic is 91 points out of 100 from the press and 9.4 points out of 10 from users.
The second and third places were taken by the exclusives for the console from Sony – Spider-Man: Miles Morales and The Last of Us Part II. In general, the top 10 games are as follows:
