Tilburg University law lecturer stumped by email threatens students: ‘Not vaccinating or testing is punishable!’

It is unbelievable what young people have been subjected to over the past year and a half. They were forced to be cooped up inside, were not allowed to go to lectures, and were certainly not allowed to relax in a nightclub. That’s bad enough. But what this law lecturer at Tilburg University is now emailing his students is really monstrous: get yourself tested or vaccinated… or you may be punished. This is what testing and vaccination compulsion looks like. And it’s terrifying.

Our friends from No style have received an email that a university lecturer in Law at Tilburg University has sent to students. These young people are eager to go back to college. They are really interested in it. But of course, that positive attitude changed a lot when they received this email. Because this crazy teacher threatens the students hard. If they don’t get tested or vaccinated, they are guilty, the teacher says, of “attempted assault.” And that would be punishable.

From email

“As a result of signals we have received, we would like to once again advise you not to attend the Legal Science lecture of tomorrow (Thursday 9 September) 10.45-12.30 without a valid recovery, vaccination or negative test certificate. Whoever violates these basic rules endangers not only public health,” the lecturer writes, “but also the health rights of others in the room.”

It is unbelievable that such a “teacher” at the Faculty of Law gets his fingers crossed (the lecturer is a man, although GeenStijl has unfortunately chosen not to make his identity public). But it really is there.

And the justice dictator wasn’t done yet. Oh no. The worst is yet to come.

From a legal point of view, this counts as attempted assault (art. 300 Sr) and violation of the physical integrity rights of your fellow students and others (art. 11 Gw), which can lead to civil and criminal liability. Not to mention moral reproach,” the teacher continues. “In view of the above, I count on your understanding and cooperation with regard to the entry requirement.”

compulsion

This, of course, is exactly how coercion – test- or vaccination compulsion – looks like. And it’s incredible to see, especially when you consider that if you predicted this a year or two ago, the whole world would think you were crazy. Who could have imagined this then? Well, there were a few farsighted minds who had been warning about this for years, but they were loudly reviled by 99% of the population.

Force is always horrible, and the way this crazy teacher works is in fact a violation of Article 11 of the Constitution. He actually affects the physical integrity of students, not the other way around. And then he hides behind his law school. It’s downright shocking.

A call from the editors: DDS, like many other websites, is having a very difficult time due to the corona crisis. We want to keep everything readable for everyone for free, so that we depend on advertising for our income. But companies have financial concerns, so they don’t have much to worry about. We also notice the consequences of this. Hence our broadcast to you, our readers: please support us! Through the reliable Dutch BackMe system you can donate monthly or once. Please do that, and help DDS stay afloat.

What a disgusting practice at Tilburg University.

By the way, a fun fact: attempt assault is not punishable at all. It’s a bit strange that the teacher doesn’t know that. Or would he know that, but hope he can intimidate his students with some bluff?
