– Tight with still red level

A lot of social is lost, and it is difficult to concentrate alone in front of a screen. The high school students are affected by the coronary restrictions.

Here, Jenny Aasebøe Sanchez-Sevendal has spent parts of high school. She still has to do that after the New Year.

– I think it’s a bit awkward, because all my three years have been marked by corona and home school.

Jenny Aasebøe Sanchez-Sevendal belongs to the corona-affected 03-litter. She is in her final year at Elvebakken upper secondary school and turns 18 on 29 December. Sanchez-Sevendal and her like-minded people have missed a lot of social time in high school.

– Many people find it difficult to concentrate when sitting alone in front of a screen all day, she says.

The third grade supports the red level if it helps to reduce the infection, but says that many are stressed with regard to exams.

No revue rehearsal at Nissen

– Oh no! Red level now again! 17-year-old Sofia Jacobsen Wheeler is in her second year at Hartvig Nissen’s school.

– Many feel that the elastic is stretched very far for the social life at school. We have been subject to restrictions so many times. It is no secret that it is quite awkward. At the same time, I understand that one must take into account, she says.

Sofia says she is a little worried about some friends and acquaintances who are struggling mentally.

– I think the red level and home school can make them hit harder. For the revue group at Nissen, the Christmas holidays were not filled with intensive rehearsals for the school revue.

– We were to practice every day throughout the Christmas holidays and plan accordingly. Instead, it was a Christmas break without plans. Everything is postponed until Easter. It is a very long time, but wise considering the infection situation, she says.

Sofia Jacobsen Wheeler hopes that they can play the Nissen revue with the audience in the hall after Easter.

– The revue means community and fun, but is nothing without the audience. It is a pity that there is so much uncertainty, she says.
