Paris SG announced Monday that its star striker Kylian Mbappé will be able to resume in “about three weeks”, after his sprained right ankle contracted on Friday.

That makes him uncertain for the Champions League quarterfinal against Atalanta Bergamo on August 12.

“The imaging assessment carried out on Monday confirms a sprained ankle with external ligament injury. Following this trauma, the recovery time is about three weeks,” said the club, which is therefore preparing to play without his top scorer in the Coupe de la Ligue final against Lyon on Friday.
