This high mortality is mainly due to an outbreak of the coronavirus in nursing home Kennemerduin, where 24 of the 87 residents died from the effects of the virus.

The figures in Bloemendaal are also unchanged. There are now 49 Flower Dealers infected with the coronavirus. Seven residents of the municipality have been hospitalized with an infection and five residents of Bloemendaal have died from the effects of the virus.
