Ontario health officials confirmed on Saturday that three of their citizens had tested positive for COVID-19, the famous coronavirus.
Ontario public health officials said in the afternoon that two of the patients affected by COVID-19 had recently traveled to Iran, one of the main sources of the epidemic outside of China. The third patient is the husband of one of the two infected patients. These three people were placed in voluntary quarantine at home.
British Columbia’s health authorities confirmed an eighth case of coronavirus in the province’s population on Saturday, bringing the total to 20 cases in the country since the onset of the crisis.
