Spain is the sixth country in the world most affected in terms of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic, accounting for at least 28,341 deaths in more than 248 thousand cases of infection.
The covid-19 pandemic has already claimed more than 495,000 deaths and infected more than 9.87 million people in 196 countries and territories, according to a report by the French agency AFP.
