Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Pawnshop gold prices fell in line with the weakening of world gold prices.
On Monday (17/1/2022), the price of gold at the compact Pegadaian site was depressed. The biggest correction was experienced by Antam’s gold, which reached 0.34%.
According to data from Pegadaian’s official website, Antam’s gold standard today experienced a correction of 0.18% to 0.34%. This gold is available from 0.5 grams to 1,000 grams.

Yesterday, the spot gold price fell 0.27% to US$ 1,817.22/troy ounce after the United States (US) central bank announced tighter policies that could trigger the strengthening of the US dollar. As an asset that is bought with dollars, a stronger dollar makes the cost of buying world gold increase.
However, in the short term Wang Tao, Reuters Technical Analyst, estimates that room for price increases is still open. “The price of gold will test the resistance point of US $ 1,830/troy ounce. A break above that point will make the price rise again to US $ 1,848/troy ounce,” Wang wrote in his research.
