The City Council of A Coruña maintains the same conditions for the celebration of San Xoán after the new step in the de-escalation that the president of the Xunta, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, announced yesterday. Starting this weekend, up to 15 people will be able to gather at the same table on the terraces. San Juan will be a holiday throughout Galicia in 2022
On June 24, the day on which the feast of San Juan is commemorated, it will once again be a holiday throughout Galicia in the year 2022, which releases a local holiday that will now have to be decided by the Coruña Council.

Feijóo explained that next year both December 25 and May 1 are already on Sunday, so it is chosen to designate June 24 and May 17 as holidays, respectively, in substitution of the other two dates. traditional.
