This week he began to inoculate the volunteers with the Mexican anticovid vaccine Patria, informed Hugo López-Gatell, Undersecretary of Prevention and Health Promotion.

The vaccine is still in the clinical phase, phase 1 and as the results increase, progress will be made in the following stages.

At a press conference, Juan Carlos Márquez Heine, Secretary of Health in Oaxaca, explained that only one municipality has decided not to be vaccinated, residents of Santa María Atzompa, and San Jacinto Amilpas.

There has been an exchange of information and a process to clarify doubts about the anticovid vaccine, and in this way in four municipalities the door was opened and only one municipality remains pending.

“Very respectful the decisions made by each of the people who decided not to decide to apply the vaccine,” he explained.
