When Delphine is seventeen, her mother Sybille can finally tell the truth about her biological father. In a London restaurant she tells us that Delphine is not the daughter of Jacques Boël, but of, then still, Prince Albert. “I was afraid that Delphine would ever hear it from someone else,” said Sybille in the VRT series Delphine: my story. “And to have to hear something like that from someone else is a big shock to a child.”
