Children aged 5 years and older, adolescents and adults who have not received the first or second full dose within the anti-COVID-19 vaccination scheme can approach the 30 positions that the Ministry of Health this weekend has enabled in Guayaquil, Durán and Samborondón (Zone 8).

Biologicals are applied on the Simón Bolívar boardwalk and in the Mall del Sur and City Mall shopping centers from 10:00 to 18:00. In the Mall del Fortín it will be until 16:30.

To these places the parents took their children to receive the dose that they lacked. This, after the mandatory and progressive return to classes was approved as of Monday, November 22. That day, 402,309 students between the ages of 15 and 17, corresponding to the technical and rural baccalaureate, will return to the classrooms.

The residents of district 1, in the south of Guayaquil, can go between 08:30 and 15:30 to the Camino al Sol health center and the Cristóbal Colón educational unit. In district 4, at the same time, it will be attended at the Cisne II unit, Vicente Rocafuerte school and at the city’s Terrestrial Terminal. In this last place the position will be enabled only on Saturday.

In district 6 (north) they will place the vaccine in the Francisco Jácome, Martha de Roldós health centers and the Almirante Illingworth Naval Academy.

The inhabitants of the 8th district, also from 08:30 to 15:30, can come to vaccinate at the Pascuales Terrestrial Terminal, in the sub-centers of Ciudad Victoria, Popular Bastion, Puertas del Sol, Popular Bastion 3, Vergeles, Pascuales and Orquídeas .

In Chongón, the Puerto Hondo health unit will receive families from 08:30 to 15:30. At the same time it will be attended in the Posorja and Progreso subcentres, on the weekend. In the Santo Tomás de Aquino school, in Posorja, it will only be inoculated this Saturday.

In the neighboring canton of Samborondón there are two points that will apply the doses from 08:30 to 15:30: the Buijo Histórico and Samborondón sub-centers. While in Durán the posts in the Recreo II and Oramas González units were set up at the same time; In addition, at Terminal Terrestre de Durán, from 09:00 to 14:00, and at the Convention Center, from 08:00 to 16:00, they will attend only this Saturday.

At these points, the third booster dose is also being given to vulnerable people, health personnel and the elderly.
