This Saturday free vaccination and microchips for pets in Houston – NBC Los Angeles

HOUSTON – This Saturday an organization dedicated to pet care will be offering free vaccines and microchips for the furry ones in our city.

Houston PetSet will hold the vaccination and microchip implantation day between 7 am and 11 am at the Hardy Senior Center, located at 11901 W. Hardy Road.

Each pet that is brought to the event will receive a microchip, a rabies vaccination and the others required by the health authorities.

If the pets have not been sterilized, the organization will put them on a waiting list to have the procedure done for free in the PetSet mobile unit later.

It should be remembered that in January an ordinance came into force in Houston that requires all pets to have a microchip.

“We are committed to helping people be responsible pet owners, and that often means subsidizing their veterinary costs so they can live safely and happily with the people who love them,” said the co-chair of Houston PetSetTena Lundquist.
