The introduction of seniority pensions would mean that if contributions are made within a certain period of time, allowing the payment of at least the minimum pension, everyone will have the right to choose whether they want to continue working or quit their activity and, thanks to the capital earned over the years, to go on a well-deserved rest.
The Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland informs that the project of retirement pensions will certainly be created. According to the latest information, the conditions for the retirement pension have already been agreed. The draft act on retirement pensions was also prepared by NSZZ “Solidarność”. The “Solidarity” internship pension project has also been trying to push through for years. Their project of retirement pensions on October 28, 2021 was included in the list of acts of the Sejm, which are waiting for the first reading. However, it still has not appeared in the agenda and it is not clear when parliament will deal with the bill. He has three months to do so from the date of submission of the project. The Sejm must therefore consider the project by mid-January 2022.
