This is what Colorado dust storm looks like from space | THE IMPARTIAL

The previous Friday, a huge dust storm in Colorado proved so massive that a satellite operated by the National Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) was able to detect it.

This resulted in stunning images being captured as the storm swept across the landscape. Winds during this event were at speeds in excess of 95 kilometers per hour, and dust storm warnings were issued for the region.

The winds also increased the danger posed by the fires, a more worrisome development actually.

However, that was not the only alarming aspect of the dust storm. Drivers experienced poor visibility and a crash due to the storm killed one person and injured 15.
