This is the minimum content of the new digital agricultural exploitation notebook

The digital notebook of agricultural exploitation -CUE- will oblige do without paper from September 1 to farms that exceed 30 hectares of crops or permanent pastures; o 10 hectares of permanent crops; or that has a greenhouse plot or has more than 5 hectares of irrigated land.

And from July 1, 2024, to the rest.

This Saturday the State official newsletter picked up the minimal content which must include the digital notebook and thus establishes that each farm must communicate the phytosanitary treatments and for each homogeneous unit of cultivation must include in the CUE data on the treated area; phytosanitary product (commercial name, active material or formulation, registration number, quantity and unit used); identify the applicator and the applicator team and also the people involved in advising on the phytosanitary treatment and an evaluation of the treatment.

In phytosanitary the marked line is defined by the strategy “From farm to table”which seeks to reduce its use by 50% before 2030.

Professionals should keep the notebook updated and include each treatment before one month from the date of application. These data will make it possible to obtain an indicator per hectare of cultivation and the amount of product cannot be exceeded.

You cannot forget the data on the seed used, with the planted area, treatment received from the seed or batch number and its quantity. It must specify the fertilization in accordance with the standards for the sustainable nutrition of agricultural soils, and the fertilization plan prepared, among other aspects.

The computer tools to implement the CUE will be available for free from July 1 and then its use will be voluntary. If the farmer does not have access to electronic means, the Ministry establishes that it will be the community that makes services available to comply with the regulations.
