The Vice Ministry of Transportation (VMT) announced the closure of streets and changes in circulation of bus routes tonight in the capital.
According to reports, the circulation of public transport will be closed in the surroundings of the Historic Center of San Salvador, this is due to the holding of the cycling event “Tour El Salvador 2024.”
The street closure will last an hour and a half, starting at 6:30 pm and ending at 8:00 pm this Friday.
Regarding the route of the competition, it will begin at Plaza Gerardo Barrios, moving along Monseñor Óscar Arnulfo Romero Avenue to 5 East Street, passing through 11 North Avenue, then along 3 Poniente Street and ending at España and Cuscatlán Avenues. , until concluding upon reaching the National Palace.
Given this, buses will only have two routes allowed, the main one will be on the Juan Pablo II avenue, in addition, this applies to routes from east to west and vice versa.
