Scary or not, there is no lack of creativity or commitment when Halloween is celebrated in the celebrity world. For Heidi Klum, who has been nicknamed “The Queen of Halloween”, 2021 was no exception.
Heidi Klum is known for putting a lot of effort into her Halloween celebration, and every year she defends her “queen” title with great success. Not just because of her very detailed costumes and big Halloween parties, but also thanks to a new tradition that was born in the corona year: A very special horror film.
“Since I could not have my annual Halloween party this year, I wanted to find a unique and fun way to celebrate at home with my family instead,” Klum wrote in an email to USA Today.
This year, as last year, Klum has replaced the social gathering by producing a small Halloween clip with husband and children. On it almost eight minutes long video Klum returns from the dead like a zombie.
– I love the transformation process. Costumes, wigs, contact lenses, prostheses and make-up all play an important role when creating a look, she writes.
At the time of writing, the not-so-nice-movie, in which Klum is losing more and more body parts, has received over 800,000 views on Instagram.
– I think people genuinely love to be scared. There is a certain tension that overcomes your body when you are scared by a movie scene or by someone else, she writes.
It took two days to record the horror film, which was filmed in a castle rented in Hollywood. According to Klum herself, her favorite scene is a dinner scene with the family who, with the help of pea soup and projectile vomiting, take a somewhat unappetizing turn.
– Everyone had soup both in their hair and on their clothes, and it really stank in the car on the way home. Even after we washed the car, it smelled like pea soup for several days afterwards.
The very evening, October 31, the 48-year-old and her husband Tom Kaulitz spent at a small garden party for the children and their friends, she says.

Many Dalmatians were probably frightened when Cruella de Vil herself appeared in Ellen DeGeneres’ chair before the weekend. Fortunately, it turned out to be Kris Jenner who had kicked off the celebration – and this is not the first time she has taken on the role of De Vil.
– One year I dressed up as Cruella de Vil and made all my children be dogs, she says DeGeneres.
She made her debut as an evil dog owner when her now world-famous children were still young.
– They were young enough to do as I said. It was very sweet.
Completely unrecognizable
Lizzo is known for stealing attention and on Halloween it is no exception. Disguised as Grogu, ie Baby Yoda, the singer was so unrecognizable that she could walk down Hollywood Boulevard for fifteen minutes without anyone recognizing her.
Wearing green body paint, a blonde wig, large ears and a long robe, Lizzo then went to Spotify’s Halloween party, where she performed on stage in a full Yoda costume.
