54. Minute: Klimowicz tries against everyone, but is stopped in the penalty area. Marcos resolutely clears the ball.

53. Minute: OFC counter via Firat who finds Bojaj. He pulls from 23 meters, clearly over.

51. Minute: The OFC crosses to the left, Tuma crosses, but nobody can get there.

48. Minute: Stuttgart come and take a corner. But it brings nothing.

46. Minute: It goes on, VfB made two changes: Littig and Eyibil are out, Reichert and Rekdal come in for them.

2:51 p.m.: A quick look at the other places: SV Elversberg (1-1 at FSV Frankfurt) is currently defending its two-point lead over SSV Ulm 1846 (0-0) in Großaspach. The Kickers are currently four points behind Elversberg with 73 points. If it stays that way, it would still be possible to jump to second place on the last day of the game.

45. Minute: Halftime in Stuttgart. After a spectacular first half, the OFC leads 3:2.

44. Minute: Good mood in the Offenbach annex just before the break.

39. Minute: Both teams are constantly in counter-pressing, the midfield is rarely part of the game. Nice to look at, even if it’s likely to cause hot flashes in some trainers.

34. Minute: 2:3 The next goal, this time again for VfB. After a cross from Klimowicz, Ganaus is completely free in the penalty area and volleys into the left corner.

30. Minute: The agile Klimowicz is stopped in the penalty area. According to referee Heiker fair, the Stuttgart see it differently.

27 minutes: GOOOOOR FOR THE OFC!!! Davud Tuma hits a cross from Paul Milde with a header to make it 3-1.

24. Minute: Tuma is staged by Deniz, but the left winger fails from eight yards out when VfB keeper Schock falls out.

21. Minute: Tuma replaces Garcia.

21. Minute: The next OFC chance: Bozic shoots just past the left angle after a nice combination via Huseinbasic and Bojaj.

20. Minute: It doesn’t seem to go on after all. Davud Tuma is ready

19. Minute: Garcia can continue.

18. Minute: OFC left winger Rafael Garcia is down after a duel in the penalty area and is being treated.

16. Minute: Again the Stuttgarter, but before the shot from Ganaus offside is displayed.

12. Minute: Madness: The Stuttgarters have three top chances within a very short time, Ganaus fails twice and Nothnagel once due to the strongly reacting OFC keeper David Richter.

10. Minute: GOOOAAAL FOR THE OFC!!!!! Tunay Deniz hits a header from the left in the six-yard box after a Garcia cross to put the Kickers back in the lead. What’s going on here?

9. Minute: That’s 1:1! The Stuttgarter dangerous for the first time in attack, Eyibil sees VfB professional bond Mateo Klimowicz – and he deliberately hits the right corner.

6. Minute: Garcia pulls from 24 meters, clearly over it.

5. Minute: Bennetts is late against Marcos, kills him – and sees yellow.

2. Minute: What a start for the Kickers. A cross from Ronny Marcos from the left was cleared by the Stuttgarters from their point of view to the left outside. Milde was completely free there and circled the ball into the corner. A little later, Bozic had the opportunity to even increase after an uncertainty in the VfB coverage. At the last moment, however, the Stuttgart team clarified.

1st minute: GOOOOOOR FOR THE OFC!!!! Paul Milde hits the left angle from 23 meters.

14 o’clock: Referee Marc Heiker (Sulzfeld) organized the side selection, it’s about to start. Best conditions in Swabia. The OFC fans greet their team.

1:51 p.m.: Welcome to the last away game of the Offenbacher Kickers. OFC meets VfB Stuttgart II at Stuttgart Degerloch.

Offenbach – Kickers Offenbach has to play at VfB Stuttgart II on the 37th matchday of the Regionalliga Südwest. The match in Stuttgart’s Gazi Stadium on the Waldau kicks off on Saturday (May 7th, 2022) at 2 p.m.

For the OFC it is the last away game of a long season in the Regionalliga Südwest. Coach Sreto Ristic’s team is still third in the table after the last-minute win against SG Sonnenhof Großaspach, but it probably won’t be enough to make a leap forward. Position one is only theoretically possible, but almost impossible.

OFC visiting VfB Stuttgart II

VfB Stuttgart ll, Kickers Offenbach’s upcoming opponents, suffered a 2-1 defeat at SV Elversberg last matchday. With 43 points, the Swabians are in tenth place in the table in the Regionalliga Südwest and have long since stopped worrying about relegation.

In the first leg on the Bieberer Berg, Kickers Offenbach won the game against VfB Stuttgart II 3-1. Okungbowa, Garcia and Ramaj were the top scorers in November 2021. In the away table, OFC is third with ten wins, three draws and four defeats. VfB Stuttgart, on the other hand, is only 16th in the home table with five wins, three draws and nine defeats.

OFC: Jayson Breitenbach is looking forward to the last away game of the season

OFC player Jayson Breitenbach is looking forward to the last away game of the season: “I’m looking forward to the away game in Stuttgart. Their playing style usually suits me a bit. We want to sell ourselves high again at the Gazi Stadium.”

Sreto Ristic, head coach of Kickers Offenbach, wants to give the OFC fans a win: “It’s our last away game and of course we want to do it sensibly. We want to make the fans happy again. VfB is a top-trained team with really strong guys. Most recently they have always been able to play in the same constellation, but this time they are forced to change because they have to serve two yellow card suspensions. VfB Stuttgart was the best team so far of all the second agencies we’ve played against. Most recently they won four out of five games and only narrowly lost to Elversberg.” (smr)
