The Carnawash in Rijen

Why not take the car with you right away? That’s why they came up with the Carnawash in Rijen: a car wash where they keep the ambiance nice while you vacuum the confetti from between the seats.

Nuenen gets a prince for 1 day in the neighboring municipality of Eindhoven
Nuenen’s Carnival Association de Klippeleaters pick up Marcel from Eindhoven for Prince Carnival for 1 day. The klippeleaters came with a bus and a lot of music to Eindhoven center to surprise the prince for one day.

Giant historical dolls in the center of Breda
It was already very busy in Breda on Saturday morning. Around 10 o’clock in the morning, the first giant dolls were brought to the square that do not remain on the Grote Markt during carnival. The dolls represent the main protagonists of Breda’s carnival history, dating back to 1500 when the Spaniards were expelled. The intention is for the giant dolls to become a tradition in addition to the parade that was canceled this year due to corona measures.
