This could not have been built in the new proposal for Oslo’s single-family house plan

The idea is to stop what is destroying the small house areas. But the new rules will also stop good projects, according to two architects.

At one end of the garden is an old villa. In the other, a relatively small, new house. Between them a spacious lawn. Is this an example of the type of “poor densification” that Oslo now wants to live?

Because with the house rules that are now on the table, the new house would not have been approved.
