In everything, ”says Daniëlle Lambrechts (20) from Vlissingen about her girlfriend. “She was drugged by her ex.” Something her friend didn’t realize until later. “She felt that she could no longer speak her words, as if she were trapped in her thoughts. She was no longer present at what happened. Actually, it wasn’t until the next day that she thought, hey, this wasn’t just alcohol. ” But what then?

Substances that can be put in drinks to drug someone. “To assault or rob someone.” It happened once with Danielle’s girlfriend, at least, as far as it can be traced. “Because that is the problem,” says Daniëlle. “It can hardly be determined afterwards, because the substance is quickly out of your body.”
