Thirteen-Year-Old American Crashes Tetris at Level 157 in Viral YouTube Video

The young American posted footage of the game on his YouTube channel. In Tetris, he reached level 157 after 38 minutes, causing the game to crash. Thirteen-year-old Gibson couldn’t believe his eyes at that moment. “I’m going to pass out, I can’t feel my fingers,” he says in the video.

Server BBC reminds us that a few years ago, Tetris players believed that it was only possible to play up to level 29. The popular game, in which cubes of different shapes are arranged in rows, was developed in 1984 by the Russian programmer and developer Alexei Pazhitnov. It then gained popularity after its debut on Nintendo’s NES console in 1989.

The game falls at 38:30

Today, Tetris can be played on a wide range of consoles and platforms, including mobile phones. Only artificial intelligence has managed to crash the game so far.

“When I started playing this game, I never expected to crash the game or beat it,” Gibsob, who has been playing Tetris since he was eleven, said on his channel.

Both Sony and Microsoft are appealing for new game consoles
