More than ever, in a context of global warming, drinking water resources represent a major challenge for communities that are trying by any means to secure their food supply. For the community of the Portes de France-Thionville agglomeration (CAPFT), the offer is multiple and largely depends on the neighboring unions. The topic discussed in the city council since 2021 is now in the spotlight, especially since the CAPFT has a large mine water tank in Metzange, capable of bringing it to self-sufficiency.
