The arrival of spring will not bring temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius for the capital of the country, but it will bring high radiation due to lack of clouds that could generate heat strokes that could generate body exhaustion that should not be confused with symptoms of Covid-19, explained the director of Early Warning of the Secretariat for Comprehensive Risk Management and Civil Protection (SGIRPC), Guillermo Ayala.
Temperatures will remain between 27 and 30 degrees, due to the interaction of high pressure from the Gulf and the middle of northern Mexico, which causes the center of the country to be encapsulated, which generates high thermal sensations.
In an interview with EL UNIVERSAL, he explained that the spring cycle will not generate changes in temperature with respect to those that have already been registered in the capital, that is, hot afternoons with high radiation, so it is necessary for citizens to avoid exposing themselves for a long time in the sun’s rays.
“By being encapsulated [la ciudad] We do not have wind currents and that generates maximum conditions between 27 and 30 degrees averages in peak hours, which goes from 12:00 to 17:00.
“That goes hand in hand with a high solar radiation that has operated between 10 and 11 average points, because we do not have nine that filter those rays,” he explained.
He said that the capital will receive spring with light rains, but that the whole new season will have a very general behavior, that is, with the same records, and that the only thing that will change the following week is that the minimum temperatures will be higher and not so fresh.
