Actor Alexander Dyachenko from the very beginning of his career was remembered by the audience thanks to his courageous role. To date, he has many roles in his filmography, but he is familiar to a wide range of people mainly from the second part of the cult film “Brother” by Alexei Balabanov.

Dyachenko has been acting in films for many years and has even managed to get noticed in Hollywood in recent years. Dreaming of an acting profession since childhood, Alexander is still filming in a variety of projects. In Russia, the artist has many fans.
It is not surprising that the host of the program “The Fate of a Man” Boris Korchevnikov again decided to invite the star of “Brother-2” to his studio. This time they talked about Russian cinema, the relevance of Alexei Balabanov’s work today, as well as Dyachenko’s personal life. The last topic aroused particular interest among the TV presenter and viewers. Indeed, relatively recently, Alexander was on the verge of life and death.
Last summer, the artist contracted the coronavirus, and not alone, but together with his elderly mother. At first Dyachenko was not very worried and tried to be treated at home. However, the medications prescribed to the actor didn’t help much. Arriving at the hospital, Alexander realized that he managed to seek help literally at the last moment.
“It turned out that there was that very critical day when everything was determined. If I hadn’t received emergency assistance, everything could have been different,” the actor recalled.
The doctors did everything possible to help the star patient. However, the situation was getting worse every moment. Like many other coronavirus patients, Dyachenko has been dealing with a problem such as a cytokine storm, a condition in which immune cells attack one’s body.
“This is when the number of platelets and the degree of blood thinning are so different that it can lead to fatal consequences!” Alexander explained.
Dyachenko spent a month in the hospital, and that time cannot be called easy. The artist was often ready to cry, his situation seemed so bleak. Moreover, it was in those days that Alexander learned of the death of a close friend. “When I was injected with an incredible amount of hormones and antibiotics, I found out that my friend Sergei Lyalin, the director, was dead. It caused me such a reaction! There has never been such a thing in my life. Tears flowed in a stream, ”the artist admitted.
Fortunately, Dyachenko managed to get out and soon went home. True, his mother almost died later from the effects of the coronavirus. But the actor managed to cope with this misfortune, so now he does not complain about anything.
