San Francisco del Rincon, Gto. In different events that occurred simultaneously during the afternoon of this Sunday, two men were victims of gunshot attacks in the Central Zone of the municipality.
One of the attacked died in the street after being shot in the head, and the other was hospitalized in delicate health conditions.
The first of the events was recorded at 3:43 in the afternoon on Esperanza Street, a few meters from Aquiles Serdán Boulevard.
There, a man who was walking on the sidewalk died suddenly, from a shot to the forehead.
Witnesses only heard a detonation and when they looked out they saw the man with a slim build and dark complexion, already lifeless and lying face down on the sidewalk.
Although there were relatives of the victim at the scene, the authorities did not release the identity of the deceased who, at the time of his murder, was wearing military green pants, a black T-shirt, a brown cap and navy blue sports shoes.
On the mechanics of the facts, the versions of neighbors about a subject who approached and shot him at close range; although it was not confirmed by the authorities.
Moments later, on Venustiano Carranza street and the corner of Emiliano Zapata street, it was reported that a man, apparently a vehicle caretaker or “come-come”, had been shot.
The paramedics gave first aid to Hugo, 30 years old, with several injuries to his body, so they took him to receive medical attention at a hospital.
So far the reasons why both men were attacked are not known, although both the homicide and the attempted murder are being investigated by the State Attorney General’s Office.
