The doctor’s wife asked to delete the publication spread on social networks.
Governor Justo Noguera Pietri published a video on his Twitter account to deny that Dr. Euclides López, held at the Uyapar Hospital, requires financial assistance for his treatment for covid-19.
“We are in a global crisis, we are going to conscience, we do not take these actions irresponsibly,” said the president.
In the images, the director of Uyapar, Yanitza Rodríguez, assured that the doctor “is being treated to the letter.”
Likewise, López’s wife, Celide Villalobos, pointed out that on several occasions she has clarified to the people who call her by phone that all the treatment is in the hospital.
In addition, he asked to remove the information disseminated from social networks requesting financial support for the alleged treatment.
