The press service of UzAuto Motors says that the reason why the assembled cars remain at the plant is that they are incomplete. Like many other companies, the Asaka site continues to experience a shortage of microchips, the rate of entry of which is slower than that of machine assembly. Demand was strong, so the company increased production from 280,000 to 340,000 units annually. In 2023 it will produce half a million cars.
Chevrolet Tracker hit the UzAuto Motors conveyor belt in mid-July. The crossover is offered in three trim levels with a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine producing 132 horsepower and a six-speed automatic transmission. Onix joined him in late July. The sedan is produced with two engines to choose from: a 1.2-liter “aspirated” with 90 forces and a 132-horsepower turbocharged engine of the same volume. Transmissions are manual and five-speed automatic.
