They begin to meet in Malaga to vaccinate people from 52 years of age | BE Malaga | Hour 14 Malaga

The president of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, has reported that in the week of June 7 will begin the vaccination of those under 50 years, since the dose administration rate is being “very intense”.

Moreno, who has participated this Tuesday in the presentation of the football Eurocup in Seville, explained that this week the population of 52 and 53 years is being vaccinated, the next one will begin to vaccinate those of 51 and 50 years and therefore in the week of June 7 it would start below 50 years.

He stressed that the vaccine “it’s working” because it is being “a great shield against contagion” and has valued that the vaccination rate “is being very intense.”

The Andalusian chief executive has stated that they have already administered more than 4.5 million doses and that they are “well above” 40 percent of the population target with at least one vaccine.

The Health vaccination device will be this week vaccinating at the FYCMA during the days 25, 26, 27 and 28 of May and will have the collaboration of students from Nursing at the University of Malaga (UMA).

The Málaga-Guadalhorce District doubles this week the vaccination days at the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos, which will remain open for this purpose from today Tuesday 25 to Friday 28. Thus, on May 25 and 27 only first doses will be administered, while on May 26 and 28 they will be directed to first and second doses.

The vaccination device is made up of approximately 21 nursing professionals from the Málaga-Guadalhorce Health District, having increased the positions between 15-18 compared to previous days, and as of this Tuesday, thanks to the collaboration with the UMA, about 20 4th year Nursing students join daily. In addition, the District has, as in previous weeks, staff from FYCMA, Civil Protection, as well as volunteers from the Red Cross, acting as a support team in the reception and post-vaccination phases.
