Lhe sports brand Brooks has taken another step forward in the launch of its new shoes, the Cascadia 16, and for this it has created a spectacular trail route … with the help of a mountain goat. To carry out this promotion, they carefully placed a GPS collar for the animal to design a trail route of its own free will, as it does in its day to day, without avoiding vertical walls, extreme slopes or short cuts in a straight line.
Once the track was registered, the brand invited some of its best athletes to wear the Cascadia 16 and follow exactly the same itinerary, thus proving that they are fully adapted to face the most technical terrain, always protecting the foot, no matter what. unpredictable that is the way.
“We did not know the challenge we were facing, we did not think it would be so hard. The route had sections of great unevenness and quite difficult access. The goat did not make it easy for us,” confesses Dami Ramis, Brooks team athlete, at the end of the challenge.
