They arrest the author of the robbery in a MSME in Villa Clara

In the town of Cambaíto, Caibarién, Villa Clara province, an 18-year-old youth was arrested for robbing a MSME warehouse. This was announced by the official profile “Fuerza del Pueblo”, which also clarified the stolen items.It is about 150 floor blankets, 30 pairs of rubber boots and 90 bottles of oil. All of these products were in the MSME warehouse where the incident occurred.

The person responsible for the crime was an 18-year-old boy named Samuel Mesa, who had committed other similar criminal acts.

Previously, this citizen robbed a house with people inside in the town of Dolores. In this case, the police authorities recovered the stolen objects and they were returned to their owners.

Right now, the citizen Samuel Mesa, responsible for such violations, is in prison accused of the crime of robbery with force.

In what context do these thefts occur?

During the last months, the National Revolutionary Police (PNR) together with the Ministry of the Interior (MININT) have sustained a strong campaign against these crimes. However, crime rates in Cuba have skyrocketed, even affecting citizen security.

In recent days in the Popular Council of Sakenaf, also belonging to the province of Villa Clara, other crimes have been identified. Two suspected criminals were arrested after carrying out thefts in warehouses and stealing two cars from a tourist company.

The police operation in charge of these events managed to seize the stolen products, as well as the two cars.

But the cases of Villa Clara are not the only ones. In Guantánamo, approximately 5,000 kilograms of rice, peas, sugar and spaghetti were confiscated, and almost 2,000 cans of sardines. All this in a house that functioned as a warehouse in that eastern territory.

In this event, three people were arrested and it was learned that the food came from the food modules that are sold to the population.
