The Basic Education programs (preschool and primary) will be divided into two channels: Network 1 will be broadcast on channels Once Niños and 5.2 on Televisa, while Network 2 will be broadcast on Once Niños and 7.3 on TV Azteca.

Mexico City, August 16 (However) .– The Secretary of Public Education (SEP) detailed the schedules and channels where the programs will be broadcast for him back to class next August 24.

To organize distance education, the SEP allocated three channels for Basic Education and two for Upper Secondary Education.

The programs of Basic education (preschool and primary) will be divided into two channels: Network 1 will be broadcast on channels Once Niños and 5.2 de Televisa, while Chain 2 for Eleven Children and 7.3 for TV Azteca.

For the secondary level, the programs will be broadcast on Cadena 3 on channels 3.2 of Imagen Televisión and on Ingenio TV.

PRESCHOOL LEVEL

Preschool students will have three options with different times to watch the programs:

–Option 1: It will be broadcast on channels 11.2 of Once Niños and 5.2 of Televisa from 8 to 9 in the morning.

–Option 2: It will be broadcast on channel 3.2 of Imagen Televisión from 3 pm to 4 pm.

–Option 3: It will only be broadcast for students who live in Mexico City through channel 10.2 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Preschool education

PRIMARY EDUCATION

The Primary Education programs will be divided into three options with different schedules and channels:

First: In Option 1 it will be broadcast on channels 11.2 of Once Niños and 5.2 of Televisa from 9 to 11:30 in the morning; Option 2 can be seen on TV Azteca 7.3 from 12 to 15:30; while Option 3 will only be available to students in Mexico City on channel 10.2 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Second: For this grade, Option 1 will be broadcast on channels 11.2 of Eleven children and 5.2 of Televisa from 11 to 13:30 hours; Option 2 will be seen on the 7.3 of TV Azteca from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Option 3 can only be seen in Mexico City through channel 10.2 from 8:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Third: Option 1 will be broadcast on channels 11.2 of Eleven children and 5.2 of Televisa from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Option 2 will be seen by the 7.3 of TV Azteca from 17:30 to 20 hours. Option 3 will be seen only in the capital of the country on channel 10.2 from 7:30 to 10 in the morning.

Fourth: Option 1 will be broadcast on channels 11.2 of Eleven children and 5.2 of Televisa from 16:30 to 19 hours. Option 2 will be seen by the 7.3 of TV Azteca from 19:30 to 22 hours. Option 3 will be seen only in the capital of the country on channel 10.2 from 9:30 to 12 in the afternoon.

Fifth: Option 1 will be broadcast on channels 11.2 of Eleven children and 5.2 of Televisa from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Option 2 will be seen by the 7.3 of TV Azteca in a schedule from 7:30 to 10 in the morning. Option 3 will be seen only in the capital of the country on channel 10.2 from 12 to 15:30 hours.

SECONDARY EDUCATION

For Secondary Education, the 6 million 473 thousand 608 students who return to classes on August 24 will be able to see the classes through two channels and schedules:

First: Option 1 and 2 will be broadcast on channel 3.2 of Imagen Televisión from 4 pm to 7 pm and from 9:30 pm to midnight, respectively.

Second: Option 1 and 2 will be broadcast on channel 3.2 of Imagen Televisión from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., respectively.

Third: The Option will be broadcast on channel 3.2 of Imagen Televisión from 10:30 to 13:30. Option 2 will be seen on channel 6.3 of Milenio Televisión from 3 pm to 6 pm.

Secondary_Education

HIGH SCHOOL

For the 5 million 239 thousand 675 students of Higher Secondary Education who return to classes on August 24, the SEP did not specify the schedules, only the channels through which the classes will be transmitted: 14.2 of Ingenio TV and 6.3 of Milenio Televisión.

The Secretary of Education announced the conference schedule for this week to give details of the subjects at each school level:

Monday, August 17: the subjects for initial education, preschool and special education will be reported.

Tuesday August 18: the subjects for second and third of Primary will be reported.

Wednesday 19 August: the subjects for Baccalaureate will be specified.

Thursday, August 20: details of the subjects that the fourth and fifth primary students will take will be given.

Friday, August 21: will be informed of the subjects for 6 students of Primary and first of Secondary.

Saturday August 22: details of the subjects for the second and third grades of Secondary and Indigenous Education will be given.

Esteban Moctezuma pointed out that they selected the best teachers to write the scripts for the online classes and were advised by educational television hosts.

He stressed that the process to bring online education to students is divided into three parts: first, the teachers will prepare the scripts with the collaboration of educational TV hosts and then send them to the SEP.
