These are a number of compensations that Garuda employees will receive if they take early retirement

JAKARTA, COMPASS.TV – Garuda Indonesia offers a number of compensations to its employees who take an early retirement program.

In a recorded internal conversation with employees, Garuda’s Managing Director, Irfan Setiaputra, said that the compensation to be given was in accordance with the rules.

Namely article 64 of the Collective Labor Agreement (PKB) between Garuda and employees. The article states that the compensation given to employees who retire early are:

• 2 times severance pay.
• 1 time service award money.
• Money in lieu of entitlement.
• Concession tickets for those who are still active work over 16 years.

Garuda will also add:

• 2 times monthly income.
• Compensation for remaining leave that has not been compensated for casual sickness in 2020.
• Mid-year 2020 and 2021 allowances for those who eligible (entitled).
• 2020 and 2021 annual rest assistance for eligible and not yet paid.

Garuda offers an early retirement program starting last May 19 and will close on June 19 2021.

Irfan also explained to employees that the reason the company offered early retirement was because of the company’s financial condition.
