Omicron is spreading rapidly: The number of corona infections in Germany is currently higher than ever. Most recently, this was primarily at the expense of a certain population group.

On Friday, the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) even reported over 140,000 infected people within 24 hours for the first time. The dominant omicron variant has an effect.
