According to Mr. Do Trung Kien, Director of Uong Bi Thermal Power Company, the company has generated a total electricity output of 2,095 billion kWh as of June 21, which is equal to 53.03% of the plan for 2023. Both units of Uong Bi Thermal Power Plant are operating stably and meeting the requirements of the National Load Dispatch Center.
Similarly, the units of Quang Ninh Thermal Power Plant, managed and operated by Quang Ninh Thermal Power Joint Stock Company, are also operating at maximum capacity 24/7 to meet the power system’s demands. The General Director of Quang Ninh Thermal Power Joint Stock Company, Mr. Ngo Sinh Nghia, shared that the operator force is arranged in 3 shifts and 5 crews mode to closely monitor equipment and ensure the highest readiness for power generation during the dry season months of 2023. The estimated electricity production for the first 6 months of 2023 at Quang Ninh Thermal Power Plant is 4.136 billion kWh, which is equal to 55.01% of the 2023 plan and 3.2% higher than the plan.
