There will be no multiplayer in Crysis Remastered

Yesterday, Crytek officially announced a remaster version of the original Crysis and announced that they would release Crysis Remastered on various consoles, including the Nintendo Switch. However, if you are hoping for something else besides reproducing the original story of the game, you are unfortunately unlucky. Crytek reported that there will be no multiplayer in the remaster.

The press release, which reported on the remaster, said that they would focus on a single-player campaign, so we can cross out any multiplayer with a high degree of confidence.

Crysis Remastered will include high-quality textures and improved art objects, temporary smoothing, SSDO, SVOGI and modern depth of field, new lighting settings, blurry movements and display of parallax occlusion, as well as new particle effects.

And that’s not all, volume fog, light rays, software ray tracing and screen reflections will also be added to the remaster, which will significantly improve visual updating.

There is no official release date for Crysis Remastered yet, but when that happens, the game will be released on PC, Xbox One, Playstation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
