The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan continues its activities in the direction of the implementation of its duties, including the protection of the population and territories from natural and man-made emergency situations.
According to the information provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to SIA, on the basis of the calls received on the “112” hotline, the relevant agencies of the Ministry have conducted 26 fire escapes and 4 emergency rescue operations in the past day. As a result of the emergency measures taken, the fires were quickly extinguished and people’s lives were saved.
In total, 5 people, including 2 minors, were rescued by the forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations during the past day.
