There was supposed to be an agreement on nuclear power plants before New Year’s, but it failed: “More time is needed to reach an agreement that fully satisfies both parties”

There is still no agreement on the extension of the last two nuclear power plants between the federal government and the operator Engie Electrabel. However, the official deadline expired on December 31st. But the government said on Saturday evening that “the talks will continue” because “more time is needed to reach an agreement that fully satisfies both sides”.
