By recognizing the possibility that opposition parties PAN, PRI, and MC unite and go as a single bloc in the 2021 elections, the president Andrés Manuel López Obrador He questioned why so many games, when there should be only two.

“So why so many games? There should be two: Liberal Party and conservative party and now, but why so many parties if in the end it is one ?, it is the conservative party ”.

In his press conference at the National Palace, President López Obrador said that it is legitimate for the opposition to want to remove him from the National Palace, as stated in the Opposite Broad Front (BOA)But he recalled that the parties are not franchises and in the intermediate elections the citizens will decide freely.

“That is a question that is not easy, seeing how the PRI is going to join the PAN or the PAN is going to join the PRI. But the other, as it is said colloquially, the main thing, is the people, it is the people, that is where the matter is, because they can all unite, but it is the citizens who are going to decide ”.

He pointed out that according to a survey they shared with him, because his government does not carry out surveys, if the PAN competed alone, they would not do well, but if they allied with the Citizen Movement, Dente Delgado, they were better, but if they included the PRI, they would obtain an “ideal setting”.
