Mitsubishi has secretly given a new twist to its flagship low MPV, Mitsubishi Xpander. Now, there are two new features on Mitsubishi Xpander.
PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) sales and marketing division manager Tetsuhiro Tsuchida said his group has incorporated two new features into the Mitsubishi Xpander. The two features in question are wireless charging and an air filter in the air conditioner.
“It is true, we have made several improvements to the 2023 model year Mitsubishi Xpander, with improved AC filters for the Ultimate (AT), Sport (AT/MT) and Exceed (AT/MT) variants,” Tsuchida said in a written statement.
He said the improvements to the AC feature were made by incorporating the Micron Air Filtration feature. This feature works to eliminate microscopic particles that can have a negative effect on allergies and health.
“Particles with a size of 20-50 µm, such as pollen, are absorbed and removed using non-woven filter media. The air circulation circulating in the booth can be filtered more perfectly so that users can be more comfortable and protected,” he continued.
Not only that, Mitsubishi Xpander also introduces a new wireless charging feature for charging gadgets. However, this feature is present in the highest type.
“The Ultimate AT variant also has a wireless charging function, to increase consumer comfort while in the cab and while driving,” Tsuchida said.
The rest is more or less the same. The Mitsubishi Xpander comes with a number of excellent features such as cruise control, keyless locking with start and stop button, tilt and telescoping steering and power outlets available from front to rear row. There is also a setting button on the steering wheel, automatic turning off of the headlights when the engine is off and automatic lock which can automatically lock the car within 30 seconds. In addition, there is a parking brake that already uses the Electric Parking Brake (EPB) and the Brake Auto Hold (BAH).
Meanwhile, Mitsubishi has also adjusted the price of the Xpander. Now, the price of the Mitsubishi Xpander has increased by IDR 1-2 million. For Sport, Exceed and GLS types, the price increases by IDR 1 million. Meanwhile, the Ultimate CVT type increases by IDR 2 million.

- CVT GLS: Rp 263,600,000
- Exceed MT: Rp 267,700,000
- Exceeding CVT: Rp 276,900,000

- Sports CVT: Rp 305,700,000
- Last CVTL Rp 307,100,000
The above prices apply on the road in Jakarta in December 2022. The price for Xpander blank is IDR 1.5 million higher.
