USR MP Iulian Bulai said that the leaders of the political party USR PLUS will appear before President Klaus Iohannis with mandateul for retreat supportto the political prime minister Florin Cîțu. The decision was taken following the dismissal of Vlad Voiculescu from the position of Minister of Health.
Iulian Bulai said that instead of Florin Cîțu he would prefer the PNL leader Ludovic Orban or the head of the Bihor County Council, Ilie Bolojan.
“We have a request on the table, it will be discussed on Monday, I am sure that solutions will be found”, Iulian Bulai told Digi TV.
Regarding a new appointment as Minister of Health, Bulai said he said the Alliance is considering several names, including Andreea Moldovan, Ioana Mihaila, Tudor Pop.
In order to maintain a balance in the governing coalition, Iulian Bulai also stated that the Alliance must receive guarantees that it will not happen that the prime minister will change ministers without announcing the coalition partners.
Cătălin Drulă, about Prime Minister Cîțu: “He is a political zombie”
Cătălin Drulă, vice-president of USR PLUS and Minister of Transport, harshly criticizes Prime Minister Florin Cîțu, after the dismissal of Minister Voiculescu.
“It was an irresponsible gesture, of political immaturity, an almost petty gesture, a gesture per person, not institutional. It was not a gesture of a responsible politician who understands what responsibility he has in a coalition.
There are mature politicians, with their heads on their shoulders and in the PNL, who realize that the government is not in one man. And I think that the responsible people from PNL, President Iohannis, understand what happened. From my signals, they understand what happened, that it is not business as usual, they understand that the trust of the governing partner in the prime minister has been lost “, said Cătălin Drulă.
“It is an institutional instrument. I hope they don’t get there. There is a lot of upset in both USR and PLUS and there is this variant as well ”, says Drulă, in the interview for G4Media.
