Veitshöchheim.Since the introduction of the Bavarian Wine Fund on January 1, 2002, the Bavarian State Institute for Viticulture and Horticulture (LWG) has made around 19 million euros available through the statutory duty to promote the sale of wine. With the resources of the Bavarian Wine Fund of around one million euros annually, the regional sales promotion agency, Frankenwein-Frankenland (Würzburg), which is responsible for the entire wine-growing region, carries out sales promotion and public relations measures.
In addition, marketing activities for group-related measures in Franconian viticulture and on Lake Constance are also promoted. Funding applications for measures 2021 can be submitted to the LWG by October 31. The application form and information sheet on funding are available for download on the LWG homepage at www.lwg.bayern.de/weinformulare.
