There are 3 Companies in Jakarta that Report Employees are Exposed to Covid-19

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Head of Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy (Nakertransgi) Office Andri Yansyah said there were three companies reporting to Disnakertransgi that employees were exposed to Covid-19.

With this independent report, the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta feels helped because it does not have to conduct sudden inspection to every company.

“There are 3 companies that happen to report independently. ‘Sir, I am a person exposed, will do things like this’, and closure according to what I just said. There it is,” said Andri when contacted, Friday (24/7/2020).

However, Andri did not clearly state the names of three companies that had independently reported and were exposed by Covid-19.

He only mentioned that the companies that independently report are located in East Jakarta.

However, for every company that has positive Covid-19 employees, it still has to run the SOP, which is closing for three days.

“If it is truly found, we will give an understanding that the closure, the SOP that we do is for the same. For the company itself, we will not do it like that and the victims will suffer more losses,” he said.

He hopes other companies can independently report to the provincial government and take immediate action if there are employees who are exposed to the virus.

“The point is, in the case that we get exposed or victims. Both direct findings, both reports from the community, there are also from the community, there are also employees, there are from the media, which is important for us to check and re-check,” Andri concluded.
