Theaters and music venues are closing en masse: ‘They don’t see any more’

Many institutions previously received an exemption to receive more people, but it will be 10 pm tonight the rules stricter again. Only a maximum of thirty people are allowed in and exceptions are no longer allowed.

Carré: ‘Doors remain closed’

Royal Theater Carré in Amsterdam will keep its doors closed until at least October 27. “Unfortunately, the permitted number of thirty visitors for our theater is not feasible with a capacity of 1,756 seats. Visitors will be notified as soon as possible,” the theater writes on the website.

The Luxor in Rotterdam has canceled all performances that were scheduled up to and including October 25.

DeLaMar: ‘Closed for a longer period’

The DeLaMar Theater will remain closed for a longer period. The theater writes on the site: “We have done our very best recently to offer performances for a smaller audience, but with a capacity limit of thirty people, the programming cannot continue in the near future.”

“We have therefore made the difficult decision to close our theater at least until November 15,” the Amsterdam theater reports on its website.

Tilburg, Maastricht and Emmen

Pop center 013 in Tilburg will also be closed in the coming weeks. The music venue will remain closed until at least 11 November. This also applies to the Atlas Theater in Emmen and the Theater aan het Vrijthof in Maastricht.

Tivoli Vredenburg in Utrecht will remain partially open. Only small-scale performances will take place.
