The young Latvian pop music performer Niklāss has started February with a new composition, singing about mythical creatures that can protect from misfortunes.
Niklas started his career as a musician only in the spring of 2022, releasing his debut single “Seši vēji” in cooperation with the “MicRec” publishing house. It was followed by the song “Lēti und naivi”, and the name of the new song also corresponds to this naive concept – “Laumiņu nachts”. The video version of the song was made by Kaspars Rudzītis (Dween Productions), and the recording studio was produced by the experienced Gints Stankevičs.
“The new song is about magical summer nights. I wrote it during a retreat in Saulkrasti, sitting by the fire under an illuminated apple tree. Night is my favorite part of the day. Do you know that feeling when you feel like someone is watching you when you’re outside at night?! I truly believe they are probably pixies. This is the story of the fairies who took care of our joy and quietly watched over us. I felt a lot more that night and that’s why I called it the night of the pixie,” explains Niklas.
It should be noted that on February 10, Niklas will perform with the concert program “Feelings” in the hall of Vārme elementary school. The already mentioned songs, as well as unreleased compositions, will be performed at the concert, and special guests are also promised.
