The young Montalbano 2 return with the third episode on the first evening of Rai 1 on 20 July 2020. The episode is titled Offshore death and will see Salvo ever closer to the wedding day with Livia.
The advances of the young Montalbano 2 tell us about the new case: a fisherman is killed in the open sea and Salvo begins to investigate the community of Vigata. Meanwhile Livia has second thoughts about her boyfriend.

In the second episode of The Young Montalbano 2, Salvo (Michele Riondino) start preparing the wedding with Livia (Sarah Felberbaum). As usual, however, his thoughts go to work, due to the arrival of a new case. After attempting to save a hotel guest, the Commissioner investigates the incident and discovers that the killer may have been one of the other residents. Among other things, he discovered that the structure could be connected in some way to the two mafia families in the area, the Cuffaro and the Sinagra.
The young Montalbano 2, third episode – Anticipations
Salvo investigates the death of a fisherman killed in the open sea. The investigations become dusty due to the silence of possible witnesses and other fishermen in the town. Following several tracks, the protagonist discovers however that the case is linked to Matteo Cosentino, in business with the Cuffaro. Meanwhile, Antonio Barreca, a fugitive from the Sinagra family, makes threats against the ex-girlfriend’s family to join him. Salvo once again finds himself dealing with a shootout with no holds barred. Despite the danger, the commissioner kills Barreca and the event has serious repercussions on his girlfriend.
Livia in fact has never looked favorably on Salvo’s work and above all the possibility that he may die or kill during one of the many investigations. Despite the preparations already started, the girl decides to back off on the wedding and stops the preparations. The advances of The Young Montalbano 2 reveal that Salvo will be able to close the case against the Cosentinos.
