In an incident that is the first of its kind, an Egyptian singer is featured in an official song for the World Cup, where rap star ‘Wigs’ sang his song ‘Ezz Al Arab’ at Lusail Stadium between the two times of the final match between France and Argentina.

Despite the Arabic melodies and Egyptian lyrics, the audience interacted with the song and dance show, choreographed by Egyptian dancer Laila Ghaleb.

The video clip of the song “Ezz Al-Arab”, directed by Al-Masry Ali Al-Arabi, was released by FIFA on its official YouTube page, which achieved overwhelming success and a very high view rate.

Rapper, born in 1998, whose real name is “Ahmed Ali”, grew up in the Wardian district of Alexandria, has become one of the most famous rap stars in the Arab world in recent years, has held numerous concerts in European countries, especially Paris and London.
